Georg, the lap dog

OH HI, I AM JUST A LAPDOG
Georg's doing great these days. His sinus/ear issues, while chronic and always there, are not bothering him. His confidence seems way high.

OH, YA, SCRATCH,. JUST THERE
I think the realization that he was actually ALLOWED to be on the couch, caused an explosion in his mind.

YESS!
While we were giving him the 'King's treatment', two neighbour farmers (They own farms, but like us, have no livestock, only logging and wood cutting). Drunk as skunks and LOUD. Georg did not approve. He didn't show aggression. mind you and he did not get down off  the couch, but he'd sit up. This meant his head was way above mine. And he'd eyeball them, while breathing heavily through his nose. They found him scary and would lower their voices. I had a really hard time not laughing out loud.

IMMA GONNA STAY HERE ALWAYS. FOREVAH
We were very happy when they left. Thankfully we had hid the wine and the liquor, or they'd never have left. That's the kind of peeps these guys are...you know the type...they visit only when they suspect you've been stacking up on the alcohol and they don't leave until it's gone. All. Gone.

BEWARE, I'LL LASER-BEAM-EYE YOU!
We need to stay on friendly terms with them, as we plan on buying up some land from them. Shhh. Don't tell! ;-)  It's how things are done over here. Nobody must say a word. The whole town knows about it, of course, but that's beside the point. Nothing is official until papers are approved and signed by the correct authorities and nothing is being 'said aloud' until then.

Small town norms and ways...

ALL DADMANS ARE BELONG TO ME
Monday we met Jesper, the 7 yo Dalmatian. Georg was ecstatic to get a new friend. We'll go walking and playing with them again tonight.

Whee. I'll try to get pictures/videos of them playing.

I've gotten yet another order for the epic fail yoda hat. Simen is so happy with it, he agreed to model for me

As promised. The epic fail yoda hat
As you've probably guessed. I've got nothing sensible to say, this week. I blame the weather. It's freezing cold. Temps are down to minus 18. Add wind and humidity above 70% and you have braincellfreeze weather. Until the temps change and my brain thaws, I'll be feeding the wood burner, knit and give Georg ear-rubs.

Over and out.

  1. I dunno about epic fail, but it does look like a sad and depressed Yoda. Haha

  2. Hehehe Yes. The drooping yoda hat, would perhaps be an appropriate name?

  3. I agree, the fail wasn't of epic proportions, and Simen is a good sport. I liked how Georg kept your guests in line!
